St. Patrick's Day Parade- Have Fun, Be Smart
For Immediate Release:
March 8, 2017
This Saturday, March 11, 2017, the 31st annual
Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held. The parade will begin at 1:00 pm and move
down the Boardwalk from New Jersey Avenue to Albany Avenue.
The Atlantic City Police Department will have officers
stationed throughout the parade route on the Boardwalk for the festivities. We are encouraging our many residents and
visitors on that day, as well as St. Patrick’s Day (Friday, March 17), to DO AC
without your car. We ask that you wait
for a jitney, stop a tram, hail a cab, or be a HERO and drive your friends. Please do not drink and drive.
We are adding additional DWI patrols for these two
days. This is your warning. We want everyone to enjoy being Irish for the
day, to be safe, and have a great time.
Additionally, underage drinking will not be tolerated and those
laws will be strictly enforced.
Anyone with information about underage drinking or in need
of assistance is urged to call 911.
Information can also be text to TIP411 (847411). Begin the text with ACPD. All texts are anonymous.
